My passion has always been to help athletes maintain their performance and well-being, and I’ve had the privilege of working with many talented individuals along the way.

However, my life took a profound turn when I faced the heartbreaking loss of my son, Scotty, to non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. This devastating experience ignited a quest for healing and purpose that led me to the world of pageantry—a realm I never anticipated would become such an integral part of my life.

Through pageantry, I discovered not only a platform for self-expression but also an opportunity to inspire others. My journey has been adorned with incredible experiences, including modelling for the Avadora Mimouni Collection and gracing the covers of World Class Beauty Queen magazines in both the US and Europe. Each moment has served as a reminder that beauty transcends age and circumstance.

This new chapter wasn’t just about glamour; it became a source of inspiration and strength, encouraging me to persevere through adversity.

In 2018, at the age of 60, I was honoured to be crowned Ms. World, which marked a significant milestone in my pageantry career.

Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to walk the runway at New York Fashion Week multiple times and was recently recognised as a dual-crowning recipient by Supermodels Unlimited Magazine in Connecticut, USA.

These experiences highlight a groundbreaking shift in the fashion industry, showcasing the beauty and talent of women over 50.

I’m passionate about advocating for positive ageing and empowering other women to embrace their age and celebrate their life experiences. I truly believe that age should not define one’s potential or aspirations.

My recent appearances at New York Fashion Week and plans to explore international runways in Paris and London are exciting steps in my journey.

Through my platform, I aim to inspire women to be fearless in making changes in their lives and to recognise that age is merely a state of mind.
